FAQ

  • Pick and pack order fulfillment is when the fulfillment provider physically finds the items ordered and packs them to ship to your customer. There are fees associated with these services that may vary per item, per order, or a combination of both rates.
  • Once a customer places an order, the information is sent to us. Nettrux then processes the order and prepares it for shipment. This process involves picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Depending on the services you need, you can set up a partnership that takes care of the more hands-on aspects of your fulfillment. We are happy to consult with you on the level of service that you need.
  • Third-party Logistics (3PL) Management is when a company uses an outsourced organization to manage its distribution and fulfillment processes. The 3PL provider serves as the “middle man” between shippers and authorized carriers to negotiate terms of transactions and arrange the best delivery method and transportation method each time an order needs to get to a customer. 3PLs, such as Nettrux, can also support FBA prep, returns handling, value-added services, warehousing, and inventory management. Simply connect your store, import your products, and send us your inventory. After that, we take care of storing and shipping your product.
  • Inventory control is required to ensure there is always the right number of items in stock. our WMS integration, we can push real-time stock counts back to your store website so that your customers immediately know if items are out-of-stock. Stay on top of inventory levels with tools that let you track your stock level and help you predict when your inventory will be exhausted.
  • Packing is when documentation and records are compiled. Further, it’s the time when you can optimize for dimensional weight pricing. You want to be as space-efficient as possible. 3PLs have the advantage of economies of scale when it comes to packaging materials and negotiated shipping rates. Reach out to us to enquire about how we can help you save time and money on packing.
  • There is almost no better way to save money on your bottom line than with shipping costs. A future-oriented cost containment strategy can help reduce costs and develop a leaner, more efficient supply chain. We have a range of logistics options that can lower your costs by leveraging our purchasing power. From roots in logistics brokering, our partner network includes marketing agencies, custom packaging providers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and more. By working with us, you leverage our ability to tap into this network to help you thrive.
  • We can work with you to make sure that all your inbound and outbound shipments move, hassle-free, across the border each day. A major benefit of outsourcing warehousing and fulfillment to HUB Logistics is utilizing our team’s decades of experience managing importing and customs clearance.
  • Slow-moving inventory is a relative term meaning inventory that has not shipped in a certain amount of time. Depending on your average turnover, this could be 30, 60, 90, or even 180 days. It could be considered obsolete inventory if it is becoming an outdated product that is never expected to sell, but these terms are not mutually exclusive. If you are looking for how to reduce slow-moving inventory, the best way would be to audit your current stock, assess how you are planning future inventory, and implement inventory forecasting best practices. Outsourcing inventory management can often be the best solution.
  • The inventory turnover ratio is a calculation of how quickly a product sells relative to the amount of inventory you carry. You can calculate your inventory turnover ratio by dividing the total number of units you sold in a specific time period by your average inventory during that period. If your inventory turnover ratio is too low, you may not have enough inventory on hand to meet spikes in demand. If it's too high, you probably have too much capital tied up in inventory.
  • Whether you are shipping parcels with UPS or USPS, or need to ship large inventory through LTL or FTL, we can help you find the right carrier. Our software will help you learn how your transportation is affecting your bottom line while providing a hub for freight management. Need help with freight claims or carrier relationships? We have spent decades building long-lasting relationships with carriers so that you’re always receiving the best options for your business.
